FishMemory.net helps those with the memory of a gold fish (or even a little better) manage tasks and schedules and get things done effectively. The system works through multiple organizational tools. Users can set up email reminders that include auto repeat functions. To do lists can be organized into multiple levels for a hierarchy that helps the user get priority tasks done on time. Secure RSS feeds allow users to review reminders from their computer or mobile device. Fish Memory can be shared with others as well. The user can build a list and pass it along to coworkers or friends. Lists can also be cloned, printed or exported as a .HTML file that can be loaded to a smartphone. Tags and note features are also included so users can make lists much easier to reference. Overall, Fish Memory provides many ways to stay on top of tasks and get things done on time and without completely losing control of a busy schedule.Show more screenshots »
Fish Memory was created by FractualBit in 2009. The company wanted to build an application that included many helpful features that assisted individuals and professionals in completing tasks and staying on time. Recent updates have added beneficial functionality including click and hold capability when changing hour and minute times, drag and drop ordering, public list comments and much more.
Fish Memory offers many of the same features that other similar applications offer. There really isn’t anything outstanding or completely unique to Fish Memory. That does not mean the application has no purpose or functionality. It can help many people get organized and complete tasks in a timely manner. It is more a matter of whether the user prefers the Fish Memory interface and system to those offered by other organizational applications.
Fish Memory utilizes a pleasant blue color scheme that is accented by a playful clown fish in orange and white. The concept of the “fish memory” adds an element of humor to the application (further complimented by the comical little fish logo). Each tool is easy to use and offers the user another approach to staying organized and never forgetting another important date or commitment.
New users can click the blue “register” link found at the top of the homepage (near the center). The registration form requires basic contact information, including an email address, name and password. The user can also select their preferred time zone and which date format they wish to use. After checking the terms of service acceptance check box, the user can click the grey “Register” button to submit the information and begin using Fish Memory. The user will have to log in first, but no activation email is required to get started.
For the time being, anyone can visit the Fish Memory website and register for a free account. There are no subscription fees or other charges associated with the application. It is available to everyone. There is no word on whether this will change in the near future. New users should note that Fish Memory is currently in a beta status. It is possible that a subscription fee or premium content could be added later.
FishMemory.net is a fun, easy way for people to get organized. Many of the features work well for an individual or a professional. The service is basic, so a large business may not find as much utility in Fish Memory. It is currently free, so it may be an attractive choice for an independent professional or start up looking for economical ways to get organized.
